Starting with the October, 2011, issue, the Messenger  is delivered primarily as an attachment to electronic mail. This is partly to speed communications, and partly to hold down costs.

IF YOU HAVE NOT YET SEEN AN ELECTRONIC NEWSLETTER, AND YOU BELIEVE YOU'VE BEEN OVERLOOKED, PLEASE CALL THE CHURCH OFFICE. You can also use the form on the right to get on the mailing list.

No computer? No problem! The Messenger is available in paper, in the church narthex, usually a few days before the first day of each month.

Beginning with the November, 2011 issue, the electronic Messenger is delivered primarily in the Postscript Data Format (pdf). This format is fast, secure, and can be read on most computers, tablets, PDAs, and smartphones.

At least two other formats are available:

Microsoft Word. The Microsoft Word version has the graphics, the headlines, and the pleasing layout of the "pdf" version. Most computers have a word-processing program which can open Microsoft Word files--and that program certainly might not be a Microsoft product--try your usual word-processor!. 

Simple Text File. Finally, as a backup, the text-file version is a very simple text file--readable on any computer.

Use the form below to subscribe to the Messenger, to specify an electronic format which works for you, or to make other arrangments to get the newsletter. OR YOU CAN SIMPLY CALL THE CHURCH OFFICE DURING BUSINESS HOURS TO MAKE DIFFERENT ARRANGEMENTS.

Are you OK with the electronic newsletter?

"Electronic delivery is fine with me, and so is the PDF format."

If this is your answer, then you don't need to do anything; the newsletter will continue to be delivered to you by electronic mail, usually well before the first day of each month.


"Electronic delivery is fine with me, but the church doesn't have my e-mail address."

In this case, fill out and submit the form to the right, and you will be added to Asbury's electronic delivery list. IF YOU WANT TO KEEP YOUR E-MAIL ADDRESS PRIVATE, PLEASE SAY SO IN THE "Specific Details" space.


"I want a format different than you are sending."

In this case, fill out your name or e-mail address and use the radio buttons to select the format you want.


"I want a paper newsletter."

Paper copies will be available in the church narthex, usually before the first day of the month.


"I want a paper newsletter, and I can't get to Asbury church to pick one up."

In this case, fill out and submit the form on the right, focusing on the postal address, please.
